General Overview Of Procedures

Our firm has experience and expertise in converting existing structures and cooperative housing complexes into condominiums. Our condominium conversion process includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Meetings with the respective Board of Directors and shareholders of the property.
  • Review the consistency of the application with the City's Comprehensive Plan,
    Building Code, Fire Code, Suddivision Ordinance, and Zoning Ordinance.
  • Working with the surveyor/engineer to file the condominium conversion application,
    required condominium plan and new legal description.

  • Attendance at all governmental and relevant hearings in support of the condominium
    conversion application
  • Select and coordinate with the Title Company title insurance, closing fees, deed
    preparation, etc.
  • Creation of an informational web page designed specifically for the project allowing
    immediate and convenient access to project status and updates as well as a venue
    for the parties involved to ask questions and voice concerns 24/7.
